The "Chopin and Wieniawski: The Soul of Poland" album is a unique blend of virtuoso masterpieces of Henryk Wieniawski and breathtaking miniatures of Fryderyk Chopin in beautiful arrangements by Bronislaw Huberman, Pablo Sarasate and Anna Karkowska. The music of Chopin and Wieniawski, two Polish legends, elegance, virtuosity and passion combined, has not only survived the ravages of time and still wins the hearts of listeners from around the globe but also found its way into the future through Ridley Scott's science fiction "Prometheus". Included with the album is a booklet with many wonderful (and true!) stories about the composers and their works.

"Virtuosity Through the Ages" a new album of Anna and Katarzyna Karkowska featuring a World Premiere of Anna Karkowska's Variations on "Maiden Wish" by Fryderyk Chopin, Niccolo Paganini (La Campanella and I Palpiti in original versions, not Kreisler's easier ones), Henryk Wieniawski (Polonaise Op.4 and Theme Original Variee Op.15), Jaroslaw Kocian's Variations on Old Folks at Home (most probably a recording premiere), Jeno Hubay's Carmen Fantasy, and Hans Sitt's transcription of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 ((most probably a recording premiere).

"Romantic Soul 2"
At first glance neither the composers nor their masterpieces compiled in this album have very much in common. From the stormy lament of Joseph Achron’s ”Hebrew Melody” through the lyric grandeur of Henryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No.2 in d, to the serene sunshine of Camille Saint-Saens’ “Swan” the music landscape here is a veritable study of contrasts. Also, the composers‘lives, from the poor, pauper –like existence of Franz Schubert to the security of wealth in Ernest Chausson’s case couldn’t be more different. However they all share, the masters and their creations alike, a common bond, intangible and yet more powerful than any visible ties for the reason that it reached and shaped the very core of their beings, a Romantic Soul.
